GTM for Technical Infrastructure Brand & Positioning Community & DevRel Growth & Distribution Content & Narrative

For the past five years I've been across crypto, AI, and privacy infrastructure, building narrative for systems that are hard to explain and too important to get wrong.

Roles

2026
Fractional GTM
+ Agentic Operations

GTM and competitive intelligence for agentic AI governance.

Inversed built Worldcoin's aMPC privacy system underpinning World ID at scale. Now launching Threshold, a governance proxy that vaults AI agent credentials, enforces deterministic access boundaries, and logs every action in an audit trail the agent can't touch. Hand an agent your credentials and a Turing-complete execution environment and the agent is you. Same identity, same permissions, same blast radius. Existing governance addresses the surface. My work here is building the case and the tooling for governance that moves beneath the LLM, before the action, not after.

What I built
  • Threshold Atlas. Competitive intelligence application mapping 84 vendors across 8 governance layers, 7 security primitives, and 3 procurement clusters. AI-queryable knowledge base, coverage heatmaps, vendor comparators, regulatory tracking, buyer-persona lenses. The system the team runs on for every sales conversation.
  • CTM Dashboard. Prototyped a Cryptographic Trust Model scoring rubric and public dashboard after the KelpDAO incident, rating 40+ DeFi protocols on whether the trust assumption they advertise is the one that actually executes when funds move. Paired with a productized offer for operators and custodians.
    // View the CTM Dashboard ↗
  • Two interactive white papers mapping the infrastructure and organizational layers agents are integrating with
    // View the Agentic Stack ↗ // View the Organizational Stack ↗
  • Challenger Sales operating model. Commercial insights, silent-failure patterns, and a forcing-function calendar of regulatory deadlines that drive every prospect conversation.
  • Strategic partner development. Identifying and landing co-sell relationships with agent harness teams, infrastructure providers, and governance-adjacent platforms.
  • Internal AI transformation. Data architecture, process automation, tooling.
// why this matters

Agentic governance is an emergent space with no established playbook. I helped scaffold the team's knowledge of the competitive landscape and hone product concepts in relationship to the market. The tools I built made that knowledge accessible and operational.

2025
Head of Marketing

100k community. Pre-product. No token.

Ritual is a Layer 1 for heterogeneous compute: AI inference, ZK proving, TEEs, and custom compute running natively onchain. Novel fee mechanism (Resonance), new consensus protocol (Symphony). I led marketing before there was anything to demo, download, or deploy.

The translation problem

These primitives had no established vocabulary. Researchers understood the components, developers needed to know why it mattered, investors needed to believe it was inevitable. I built narrative frameworks that made all three land at once, across audiences, content formats, and ecosystem teams doing the same translation for their own work.

Community built on conviction, not incentives
  • Built @ritualfnd from zero to 40,000+ followers at peak
  • Combined audience of 100,000+ across @ritualnet and @ritualfnd, with no product, no token, no airdrop
  • Discord from 25k to 100k+ members, 4× growth during a phase when most crypto × AI communities were declining
  • ~500 developers in Telegram with substantive, ongoing technical conversations
  • Proto-agent Discord integration. One of the first deployments of an agentic UX in a live community context
  • ~200 active builders, 15 whitelisted ecosystem teams, all acquired through trust, not rewards
What made it work
  • Deep architecture fluency. Resonance, Symphony, Infernet, sidecars, execution precompiles. Enough to write for people who would check the work
  • Content that compounds. Explainers developers shared, threads researchers cited, narratives ecosystem teams built on
  • Events as signal. Built to attract builders, not spectators. The attendance list was the proof
  • Ambassador programs that identified serious contributors early and gave them a reason to stay
// why this matters

The window for category leadership closes fast. 100k members and 500 active developers before a product existed, built on fluency, narrative precision, and developer trust. That playbook transfers to any technical project where the audience can see through hype.

2024
Head of Community
Continuing advisor

Community as a discipline at the launch of restaking.

Restaking became one of the most influential architectural ideas in crypto in 2023 and 2024. A primitive that lets stakers extend cryptoeconomic security to other protocols, opening new design space for decentralized infrastructure. I joined to build community from scratch while the category was still being defined.

The community coherence problem

Restaking was a new primitive and the community it needed did not exist yet. Builders, researchers, operators, and restakers all had to understand what was being built before they could believe in it. Very few outside the protocol understood what cryptoeconomic security extensibility meant. I created coherence while the category was still forming. The community that came together was built on understanding, not incentives.

What I built
  • Defined community as a discipline from the ground up. Core workstreams: sensemaking and analytics, growth, moderation and support, events and programs. Gave the function shape, accountability, and an operating rhythm it didn't have before
  • Designed and led a community retro distribution of 6M tokens to contributor wallets. Complex, high-stakes operation with real reputational weight
  • Co-directed and executive produced Watch: Unlocking Human Coordination ↗, a documentary about the protocol's core ethos. Long-form narrative for a technical concept that needed emotional resonance, not just explanation
  • Ran point on all community workstreams across both stakedrop launches and the Token Generation Event (TGE)
  • Built the ambassador and fellowship program, creating a distributed layer of educated, credible community leadership
  • Contributed to brand strategy for both the Foundation and Labs arms of the organization
// why this matters

The architecture was technical and novel. The audience was builders, researchers, and restakers. The growth lever was community conviction before product-market fit. People needed to actually understand the extensibility of Ethereum's cryptoeconomic security to other proof-of-stake systems. I built that playbook from first principles.

Select projects from five years building brands and communities in web3.

Decent DAO
2023

Research and Ecosystem Lead during the bear market. Built the venture lifecycle architecture for project validation. Led business development for a B2B privacy venture in DeFi through preliminary validation with three crypto trading desks. Developed brand strategy and organization design.

Protocol Labs
2020

Executive produced the Web3 Showcase content series, before that term was in popular use. A collection of documentary films profiling impactful projects building on the open web: Audius, Textile, Starling.

// Watch: Film 01 ↗ // Watch: Film 02 ↗
Tableland
2022

Tableland is a permissionless relational database protocol built on SQL, bringing structured, queryable data to smart contracts and decentralized applications for the first time. Cold-started and grew the developer community to 5,000+ members.

Coventina Foundation
2021

Holochain is a post-blockchain architecture for peer-to-peer applications: agent-centric rather than ledger-centric, with no global consensus requirement and no token dependency, designed for genuinely distributed, privacy-preserving software. Built brand strategy, personas, and creative direction for Coventina, a privacy-native organization in the Holochain ecosystem.

Who I am

Portrait of Yalor Mitchell
ethos

I continue to be drawn to more and more technical projects over time. My work focuses on translating them into resonant metaphors and experiences for wider audiences.

The projects that matter most to me have three elements: civilizational impact, an embodied ethos, and deep technical innovation.

methodology

How I work

operating system

Trained in rapid prototyping under Tom Chi (Head of Product Experience, Google X) in San Francisco, 2014–16. That methodology became the operating system for everything since: build fast, test with real signals, iterate before you're ready.

In practice this means standing up brand systems while the product is still forming. Building content engines before there's a content team. Running events, writing copy, configuring tools, and having the hard conversations about what's working and what isn't.

I'm polymath-ish. Obsessed with organizations, groups, and psychology. Applying that to GTM.
